Yes, What a Friend we have in Jesus... I LOVE that song!!! My kids always laugh at me when I say that... "Mom, you LOVE all the songs"... Yes, I guess that's true. There is nothing better to lift your spirits, make the blues go away, take your mind off ourselves, than to praise God. Since I can't sing on "any" key, (just ask my kids) I'm always making a joyful noise. He gives us so many reasons to praise him. Just driving by some sheep in a pasture causes me to sing. I am so thankful for the many song writers that wrote hymns and spiritual songs, many of them, through their pain and suffering, so I could have a song in my heart to sing. Sing along with me, together, we can make a joyful noise unto the Lord....

Hi Faith... I wanted to stop by and say thanks for joining in for the 30 Days of Thanksgiving. I enjoyed reading through your posts... so agree with about what a friend we have in Jesus... and what you said about praise chasing away the blues. In fact, I'm hoping to put a bookmark on my blog tomorrow with a little poem about just that!
